A lead magnet is an incentive that you can offer to potential buyers or prospects in exchange for their email address or other contact information. These are free items that you use to capture email addresses in order to build your list so that you can follow up with these leads and build trust in the hopes that you can do business with them.

Examples of lead magnets include: PDF checklist, report / e-book, whitepaper, audio / video, e-course, quiz, sampler packs… So many examples!

In this video, I’m going to use my own lead magnet on VirtualAssistantForms.com as my example as I go over 7 things your lead magnet must do. I also want to show you that a lead magnet doesn’t have to be complicated or super fancy in order to be effective.
